Marc Gafni – Co-founder, President
Dr. Marc Gafni is a leading public intellectual and teacher impacting the source code of global culture.
Gafni is a visionary thinker, social activist and passionate philosopher. He is known for his “source code teachings”, including Unique Self theory and the Five Selves, the Amorous Cosmos, A Politics of Evolutionary Love, A Return to Eros and Digital Intimacy.
He is author of twenty five books, of which the first ten have been published, including the award-winning Your Unique Self: The Radical Path to Personal Enlightenment.
He holds his doctorate in philosophy from Oxford University, as well as Orthodox rabbinic ordination.
He teaches on the cutting edge of philosophy and spirit in the West, with the aim of participating in the articulation of what Dr. Gafni together with Dr. Zak Stein and colleagues are calling CosmoErotic Humanism.
At the core of CosmoErotic Humanism is what Dr. Gafni and Dr. Stein are calling: ‘First Principles and First Values’, Anthro-Ontology and a “Universal Grammar of Value”.
This is the ground of a new shared universe story and narrative of identity for the new human and the new humanity. This is what they are calling the emergence from Homo sapiens to Homo Amor.
This shared story rooted in First Principles and First Values can then serve as the matrix for a global ethos for a global civilization.
Claire Molinard – Co-founder, Director
Claire Molinard is an empowered Unique Self lineage holder who serves on the Center for Integral Wisdom board since 2013. A mother and a mystic at heart, she has been a coach and a mentor for women changemakers for the past 25+ years. She was a faculty member of Integral Coaching Canada for almost a decade, coaching and training students enrolled in their professional coach training programs. In 2014, she co-created the Unique Self Emergence process, a psycho-spiritual coaching modality that she teaches and facilitates through online and in-person programs.
Claire’s work is informed by Cosmo-Erotic Humanism, Integral theory, developmental and depth psychology, neurosciences as well as by her commitment to her spiritual practice – an essential part of her whole adult life. Zachary Stein
Zachary Stein
Zak is a philosopher of education working at the interface of psychology, metaphysics, and politics. He has published two books, including Education in Time Between Worlds, along with dozens of articles. He has worked co-founding a non-profit and think tank, teaching graduate students at Harvard, and consulting with technology start-ups. Terry Nelson
Terry Nelson is a Senior Scholar at the Center for Integral Wisdom, and the Unique Self Institute, currently writing a book on Unique Self and vocation.
He is a former Vice-President and Chief Trainer of Lifespring, a personal development training company. He worked as an analyst for the Congressional Budget Office in Washington, DC and was a Peace Corps Volunteer and PC Training Project Director in Thailand. He holds a B.A. from U.W. at Madison and an M.P.A. from the Johnson School of Management at Cornell.

Lori Galperin
Lori Galperin has been a therapist, program founder, clinical director, teacher and writer for 30+ years. She is highly skilled in multiple types of therapeutic treatment. Her current areas of specialization focus on working with individuals and couples around issues of: 1) intimacy, relational and attachment problems, sexual dysfunction, and; 2) trauma, compulsivity, and eating disorder recovery, (from anorexia, bulimia, and binge-eating) and; 3) clinical writing, focused on the process of recovery from addictive behaviors and mental health problems to a state of vital aliveness, meaningfulness, and relatedness.
Lori’s training includes EMDR, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Processing Therapies, and psychodramatic techniques, as well as the original Masters & Johnson model of marital and sexual co-therapy, as taught by its founders. She’s co-authored book chapters and journal articles, lectured and trained professionals both nationally and internationally.

Kathy Brownback has been teaching religion and philosophy at Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire for 30 years. She is now working on a book that is partly memoir and partly her experiences teaching Unique Self Theory at the school.

Venu Julapalli
Dr. Venu Julapalli is founder and president of Integral Gastroenterology Center, P.A., an active private practice in gastroenterology in Houston, Texas. Inspired by the works of Ken Wilber, he started his practice in 2005 with a passion to bring an integral approach to patient care. With extensive experience on the front line of the American health care system, he has engaged in the best of what modern medicine can offer and lamented the vast flatland of unconscious healthcare. He is the co-founder of the Health 3.0 movement, whose mission is to consciously co-evolve the practice of medicine.
Having lived all over the American South, Venu graduated as valedictorian of his high school class in Houston. He entered Stanford University as a National Merit Scholar. He graduated in three years with a B.S. with Distinction in Biological Sciences. He was elected a member to Phi Beta Kappa. He completed medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, with election to Alpha Omega Alpha. He underwent medical training in internal medicine and gastroenterology at Baylor College of Medicine. He is now currently in law school at the University of Houston Law Center.
Venu proudly serves on the Board of Directors of the Center for Integral Wisdom, an activist think-tank whose mission is to evolve the source code of human existence. Led by a team of spiritual luminaries, business leaders, authors, and activists, the Center for Integral Wisdom aims to advance the leading edge of spirituality, psychology, and the sciences around the world.
Venu enjoys reading, spending time with his wife and family, and following his beloved New Orleans Saints.

Philippe Joannis is a Leadership development mentor and Executive Coach with extensive international business experience working with senior leaders and senior executive teams. He is a Unique Self Emergence process practioner.
Philippe is the creator of the « Conscious Leader Practice » process which has been informed by the Unique Self dharma and which helps leaders get a powerful developmental framework and effective developmental practices to bring their leadership to the next level and offer their unique gifts to their organization and to the world.
He has adapted to French the keystone book « Mastering Leadership » from Bob Anderson and Bill Adams He has leaded the translation in French of the seminal book “Awaken your Unique self” from Dr Marc Gafni which he has also published as an audio book. He is member of the board of the Center for Integral Wizdom and leading the Audio Book Project to make the great library available in audio format.

Tom Ronen Goddard, JD, PhD, is a psychologist and lawyer whose involvement with integral theory goes back to the late 1990s and whose work with Dr. Marc Gafni dates back to 2010. Dr. Goddard is a founding member of Ken Wilber’s Integral Institute, Dr. Goddard is recognized for his contributions to integral healthcare, both as a published author and as a practitioner. He is co-authoring two books with Dr. Gafni, one a home-study version of a Unique Self retreat that he, Dr. Gafni, and others designed, the other a world spirituality practice book. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Center for Integral Wisdom.
Dr. Goddard is founder and CEO of Integral Healthcare Solutions, a global healthcare consulting firm that helps healthcare organizations on accreditation, compliance, and quality issues.
Through his educational and counseling practice, Integral Becoming, Dr. Goddard also works with individuals seeking to transform the quality of their lives, their communities, and their world.

Olivier Bockenmeyer has been working internationally in the corporate world for the last 25 years as a global brand and insight expert. His insight expertise, initially aimed at understanding people and the world from a marketing and business perspective, has progressively evolved into mysticism and a deeper understanding of the inner workings of Life.
He has been a holistic practitioner and a wholeness advocate for more than 10 years, as a holistic health coach, a yoga practitioner and experienced meditator.
He’s an adept of the Unique Self teachings and has been studying with Dr Marc Gafni since 2016. He believes we are at a time of transition when deep wisdom and the new story of evolution and enlightenment needs to be shared and democratized for the uplifting of human consciousness. He has a special interest and focus in this new ‘Democratization of Enlightenment’.

David Cicerchi found himself attracted to Unique Self theory since he first met Dr. Marc Gafni in 2009 at the Integral Spiritual Experience worldwide event. He recognizes Unique Self as an elegant integration of spirituality, adult development, and evolution and is the most powerful and ethical response to today’s global challenges— and one that truly honors the wholeness and dignity of each individual.
David is a certified Unique Self Coach, holds a Masters Degree in Organizational Development & Leadership, is a certified Leadership Maturity Coach from the Vertical Development Academy, and holds a 2nd degree black belt in the martial art of Aikido. He has been facilitating leadership development programming for over a decade and coaching leaders in the corporate and non-profit sectors. David currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Jamie Long
Jamie assists in the production of Unique Self Institute classes.
Jamie is Co-Executive Producer of One Mountain, Many Paths, the weekly online community co-founded by Dr. Marc Gafni and Barbara Marx Hubbard.
In 2013, Jamie experienced an inner shift toward the New Story of the Universe after joining a discussion group called “Cosmos”. In 2019, Jamie participated in the 11th Hour series course with Dr. Gafni and Barbara Marx Hubbard which introduced Unique Self theory and existential risk.
Jamie lives in San Diego in the U.S with his wife. Jamie has a degree in engineering, and he currently works as an accountant at the city of San Diego. Jamie also volunteers in a local climate activist group.
